Positioned in the stripped-back landing for the ensuite bathtub, the dark amber vessel created by Anna Dickinson sits atop a medium height column. Topped with a brushed-steel rim, the frosted modulus of glass warms my eye and makes up for the lack of wood which normally veneers the rooms.

The some 30 sided vessel transitions to the rolled steel loop such that I don’t necessarily understand if they are bonded via a glue, or mechanically joined with some delicate tolerance associated - or a combination of both. I would love to see the tooling that went into forming the glass. There’s a lovely way the segments of the lower portion of the piece appear so supple, yet sharp in the way they diffuse the incoming light.
